OLED
OLED panels light each pixel individually, so black pixels are truly off — yielding perfect blacks, per-pixel contrast, and vivid color that make a handheld read premium, especially in a dark room. The honest caveats are two: static on-screen elements (HUDs, menus) can cause burn-in over years, and some OLEDs trail a good LCD on peak daylight brightness. For most buyers the picture quality wins; judge the specific panel’s nits and refresh, not just the acronym.
