Per-Game Tuning / Overrides

Per-game tuning is saving custom settings — a different core, a resolution or frame-skip tweak, a CPU overclock profile — for a specific title that will not run well on defaults. It is how a device near its ceiling squeezes a hard game into playability, and it is exactly the work the “playable” band implies. Tinkerers enjoy it; buyers who want plug-and-play should size their expectations to the “full-speed” band instead, where tuning is not the price of admission.
