Windows on a Handheld
Running Windows on a handheld buys total compatibility: every storefront, every launcher, and the anti-cheat titles Linux still cannot. The cost is friction — a desktop OS driving a 7-inch touchscreen with a gamepad, worse standby behavior, and more time spent managing the device than a console-like OS asks for. Manufacturer front-ends soften the edges but do not remove them. Choose Windows when your library demands breadth; choose SteamOS when you want consistency and battery.
