NVMe (M.2 in Handhelds)

NVMe is the high-speed SSD interface, and several PC handhelds accept a small M.2 2230 NVMe drive you can swap or upgrade — the fastest storage a handheld offers, well clear of eMMC, UFS, or any microSD. The catches are physical and practical: most handhelds take the short 2230 length specifically, and opening the device may affect warranty. For a PC handheld you intend to load with big native games, an NVMe upgrade is often the single most impactful one.
