UFS

UFS (Universal Flash Storage) is the faster onboard storage tier, and crucially it is far stronger at random reads — the access pattern that drives load times and texture streaming. On a device pushing PS2-era games and up, UFS is often what keeps a capable chip from stuttering. Its advantage over eMMC shows up exactly where it counts, not in the sequential numbers a spec sheet leads with. When two devices are close, UFS is a real point in favor.
